Imagine you are in a pitch-black room,
in an unfamiliar building.
The electricity is out.
You are terrified of the dark.
You have no matches – because who smokes anymore?
Your cell phone died hours ago.
You shouted but no one came.
Anxiety is taking hold, panic is pressing in.
Every scary thought of being trapped in a dark building runs through your head in technicolor!
You hear one thing louder and louder – your heartbeat.
And then you remember that pen your friend gave you, the one from their hairstylist, with the advertisement on it. The one that has a tiny light at the other end!
“PLEASE GOD LET ME STILL HAVE IT! PLEASE GOD LET IT WORK! YES, here it is!!! OMG, it works! Thank you, thank you, thank you!”
It’s a tiny, tiny light on the opposite end of a pen, but at this moment, it feels HUGE, doesn’t it? This tiny light can quash fears of immense proportion, light a room and change your perspective. Quite amazing!
Now imagine what your light can do in the darkness that surrounds us these days! It is so easy to get sucked into the morass that surrounds us on a daily and hourly basis. I won’t repeat the bad news because you already know it. If you don’t good for you!
So HOW do we shine our Light on the Darkness?
1. Center in your heart space – come back to your source – to your own bubble of light. Connect with Great Spirit, God, The Universe, Tao, Yahweh, whatever you call Oneness, however you best do that. Sometimes it’s as easy as communing with nature; or taking 3-5 deep conscious breaths while being aware and grateful for life. Maybe for you, it’s saying a prayer, a ten-minute meditation, or thirty minutes of yoga. Do it! This is for your Health and Sanity!
2. Turn away from the Darkness. Don’t read it, watch it or listen to it. Turn off the news channels. Or at the very least limit yourself to 10-20 minutes per day. I find it interesting that folks will only eat organic food yet feed their brains with hours of bad news.
3. Send light to the dark. If you know someone who is suffering from pain, grief, or illness send them healing energy, reiki, prayer, or positive thoughts. If you see an accident on the side of the road, send positive energy to the people involved. See light surrounding them. Remember, what you send out returns ten times!
4. If you must watch, listen or read bad news then send soothing energy to those areas. Fires devasting the forests? Send calm & rain. Floods destroying property and killing people? Send soothing energy to the rivers. Yes, you do have the power to calm a storm!
5. Avoid negative people – especially those who dwell on the bad news, it’s like playing in a toxic dump.
6. Practice reframing negativity – have a touchstone for those times when you find yourself depressed or flailing in negativity (it happens). Think of a funny animal, or a funny incident, or a place of beauty that you love – something to change the negative energy. Once you switch off the negative energy then imagine the new positive result that you want to experience. An easy example is getting a new job: Imagine yourself working in the perfect environment with people who are creative, supportive, happy, and contributing to the world in a positive way. Imagine exactly what you want to achieve in your new job. Using all your senses, see yourself there!
Try it right now and allow yourself to experience the change you feel when you play in the positive energy of creation. You can use this exercise for any situation in your life.
7. Join with other folks who are positive influencers – meet together in person or over Zoom and share the Light with each other. No bitching, whining, or complaining! Only positivity allowed! Come together to share a Meditation, Joy, Good news, Blessings, a positive reading – get it? Only good POSITIVE news is allowed. One person can lead every week, or you can rotate the responsibility. Meet weekly, bi-weekly or monthly.
8. Practice Gratitude daily – be aware of all the good in your life. Speak it, write it, and include it in your prayers or meditations.
9. Shine your light. You may think that your light is just a tiny pin light but remember that tiny light on the end of a pen can light a room. In fact…
YOUR LIGHT IS HUGE!
Never underestimate the power of your light to chase away the dark. For there are many of us out here standing together. We just have to practice, practice, practice!
Shine on! BakeR – The Psychic Coachby
Years ago, when I was new to the crystal world, I thought crystals were pretty, sparkly, and mostly decorative. I had not yet encountered their power as healing tools.
Then one day I was doing a Reiki session for my good friend, David Singing Bear, who was experiencing uncomfortable chest congestion. As I worked on him, I heard very clearly, “put that green calcite on his chest”. Yes, I am psychic, but I don’t often hear a voice as clear as that. There were three pieces of green calcite on the windowsill which I placed on David’s chest. Then I saw this weird vapor-like energy spiral out of his chest. WHAT??? I was slightly freaked out.
When the session was over, I told Singing Bear why I had put the calcite on his chest. He was not surprised, turns out he had been using crystals and specifically calcites for years in his healing practice. He was just surprised that I had not used crystals prior to that time.
Since that day I have studied and learned about using crystals and minerals for the benefit of myself and my clients. I can hardly do a “basic” Reiki session now. It just seems so natural to incorporate my healing friends and allies. I’ll often start with green calcite on the heart chakra, especially if the client has talked about heartbreak or wounding. I have a Golden Healer and a Time Link quartz that are usually in one or the other of the client’s hands. I always use the Time Link quartz if I suspect wounds or trauma from a past life or early childhood. The Time Link quartz links up to the past to root out and heal those traumas. It can also be used to clear the way for future work, or manifest intentions. The Golden Healer was a gift from another healer–and it is a powerful ally in healing physical or emotional wounds.
Usually, I have a simple grid around my client, alternating quartz points with fluorite. The quartz amplifies our healing intentions and the fluorite helps clear and cleanse the energy centers. I add any other mineral that “feels right”, often celestite to connect them with Spirit world or Black Tourmaline to ground them. Many people use Hematite to ground the client, but personally, I feel it bounces the energy around.
I always choose the crystals based on what the client needs and what the spirits suggest. Generally, I am using colors that correlate with the chakra color for that chakra. For instance, Amethyst or Clear Quartz for the Crown; Lapis Lazuli or Sodalite for Third Eye; Blue Lace Agate for Throat; Green calcite, Aventurine, or Rose quartz for heart chakra; Citrine for the Solar Plexus; Carnelian for the Sacral; and Red Jasper for the Root. Other minerals I frequently use are Ruby Zoisite if working with past lives, Fire Agate for sexual empowerment, Garnet for sexual healing and Orange Calcite for claiming back lost power.
I almost always use green calcite as it is so powerful in releasing any blocked or negative energy. And nearly every session I include a Herkimer Diamond and Pyrite under the head. Herkimer Diamond for conscious attunement to the highest level, allowing the higher self to advise us. Pyrite for help in decisiveness and action. From there it’s always a mix, sometimes I have an idea ahead of time of what I’ll use but usually it happens as I begin. My guides and the client’s guides show me the best healing tools to use.
I always have beautiful wands available. I use my Selenite wands to clear negative energy. There is also a Selenite pad in each healing room. If I want to reposition a crystal it can first be placed on the Selenite to cleanse it as Selenite will cleanse the crystal in five minutes. My Apache Gold wand aids intuition and detoxifies energy channels; I also use it to clear blocks and amplify other crystals’ work. My most recent acquisition, a Smoky Quartz wand, lifts depression and negativity and promotes the elimination of the digestive system. If the client is nervous or stressed the Smoky Quartz brings emotional calmness. In that case, I place it vertically running from their solar plexus up to the heart chakra.
Another tool I always have on hand is a pendulum, which I use to check the chakras if I’m not getting a good read when I do an energetic scan. My pendulum can also give me a quick, clear answer if the client has a question that I don’t get the answer for right off.
Clearly, there are infinite ways to use our crystals and minerals for healing work. As you begin to work with healing tools, experiment with what feels right; feel the energy of the crystal/mineral and how it works with your clients. Allow yourself to stretch and grow beyond what I say or what a book says. Use your intuition and guidance to determine what crystals work best for and with you.
As I was completing this article my cat pulled a piece of orange calcite off the shelf on my desk. It just so happens that it is a piece of orange calcite that was once owned by and worked with David Singing Bear. When he passed into the next realm his family sold his crystal and mineral collection and I was able to acquire some beautiful tools that had been infused with my friend’s powerful healing energy. It would be just like Singing Bear to prompt Spencer (my cat) to pull down the orange calcite as I typed this article. David, are you with me today? What a gift, thank you!
Enjoy working with your energetic allies in the mineral world!
Love and light, BakeR
p.s. there are pages and pages of info on the web about crystals and minerals and how to use them, including the use of grids that are powerful for manifesting your intentions. I highly recommend The Crystal Bible 1 & 2, and The Book of Stones as well.
“Have enough courage to trust love one more time.
And always one more time.”
After the loss of a love, it is so easy to shut down, draw in, retreat. So easy to forget the touch, the support, the love. So easy to forget that Love is always available from Source.
Yet as Maya Angelou so profoundly reminds us, we need only trust love one more time. For today, we can trust Love – the Love of Spirit, the Universe, the One. That Love which is larger than us, all encompassing, always there, the light that never goes out. It breathes us – we are IT.
Inside us is a pure, innocent core of untouched perfection. It is this sweetness that sustains us, this light that illuminates. We have only to go to this reservoir and draw sustenance. It is always there, constantly replenished.
It is this Love that provides hope, joy and faith. Sweetly it reminds us of the gift in the present. We see with clear vision, embracing the light, acknowledging the purity and moving forward with grace.
The heart opens, excitement returns, trust enfolds us and we know that the dance will never end, the conversation will go on and on.
And when we are ready, Love will faithfully restore our hearts and fill them to overflowing.
Love will prevail.
I allow my heart to open, expanding with the possibility present in this new day. I live in wonder, trusting Spirit and my essence to create Love in, as and through me. I honor the dance. Love lights the way.
BLESSINGS OF LOVE, BAKERby
Are you suffering from New Age Guilt?
You know, New Age guilt, that syndrome that comes on when you get sick and you ask yourself what caused it? What is the emotional reason behind this illness? What could I have done to prevent it? Why did this happen to me?
What if there IS NOT an emotional reason? What if you just caught something? What if that nasty bug going around got its crappy little tentacles in you? What if you just had a weak spot in your intestine, brain or artery since you were born, and there isn’t an emotional reason. You just happened to be born with it. Is it really helpful to beat yourself up some more?
I have good news, recently a woman was in for a reading and my guides told her, “SOMETIMES YOU JUST GET SICK!” WHAT? Sometimes it really is this physical vehicle we came in that gives out. The good news is you can let go of the new age guilt, you can decide to love yourself anyway. And you can stop guilting other people too! There’s an idea we can all benefit from, love ourselves just as we are and love everyone else just as they are.
No, I did not say you can stop taking your vitamins, jump off the treadmill, eat crappy food, or forget to clean up your thoughts! This is not a go to Burger King, get out of jail free card! I am however, gifting you a leave the guilt behind card. Let’s say you do get sick, you’re laying in bed feeling like hell and trying to figure out why. Sometimes it is productive to read Louise Hay or Ernest Holmes and find out what the underlying cause is so you can say the appropriate affirmation. There are times when we do need to clean up our thoughts, forgive someone or love ourselves. If that’s the case please do the work. However, you could decide to make your affirmations something along these lines: I love myself. I am whole, healthy and complete. I honor and appreciate my body for serving me all these years. I am so blessed to be alive in this day and age.
Love yourself through it! And remember:
The highest thought is always that thought which contains Joy.
The clearest words are those words which contain Truth.
The grandest feeling is that feeling which you call Love.
-Neale Donald Walsh, Conversations with God
Give yourself these gifts Joy, Truth and Love, you deserve it! And stop beating up my friend (that’s you)!
Love and joy, BakeR

Recently I realized that I still have insidious worms in my head. They writhe around, mushing my brain into slimy toxic waste! My fear based ego loves them, it feeds them regularly, giving them special treats so they can get bigger and fatter. GROSS!!!
For years, instead of knowing the Truth for myself, I have allowed the worms to eat away at who I really am. I allowed them to create my stories.
When I got lovingly honest with myself I came up with these insidious worms (stories) and the fodder the ego feeds them:
I am afraid of success. Yep, you should be, if you get really successful you won’t have any privacy, you’ll be gone all the time and your husband won’t love you anymore.
I am a procrastinator. Maybe, but you could miss something really important on Facebook.
I am afraid of failure. Damn straight, it hurts to fail!
I am not a good writer. Seriously have you read John O’Donohue? That’s a good writer, you are a hack with a couple of ideas.
Mamacita answers other peoples’ questions, but not mine. Mamacita has much more important issues to deal with than your whiny stuff. She’s not supposed to help you, just others.
With all the people I have taught these principles, why don’t I put them into action? No kidding, you must be unteachable.
The truth is these are all just stories I have been telling myself for eons. No matter what my “story” of the day is, I can change the ending. For instance, I used to have” victim consciousness” because my father sexually abused me for years. I lived from that “victim conscious” for a good part of my life, until I realized that I didn’t have to live there anymore. I healed that wound and changed my life. Now that I know I can heal something that big, I can surely heal being afraid of success or failure, or stop procrastinating, or listen to Mamacita, or practice what I teach.
It’s as simple as withholding the worms fodder and feeding my brain and psyche some new material, such as:
I am successful. I am in control of my time, my life is balanced
I choose to complete my marketing and then write or read.
I love failure, it’s one step closer to finding the correct way or the genius answer.
I practice, practice, practice my writing. I love sharing my ideas through my writing.
Mamacita and my other guides are always available for me, they love helping me.
As I teach others these principles I learn them myself. I am completely honest with myself.
All those stories we tell ourselves, they’re just worms! We can eradicate the worms, if we will just stop feeding them!
Let’s ask ourselves right now:
What are the stories I tell myself?
What do I need to release to change a particular story?
Changing my thinking and my perspective, how do I create my new story?
How can I put the new story into action?
If something is hard it’s because we are out of integrity. We must ask ourselves, “Where am I not being true to myself?”
I am going to be in integrity with myself, eradicate the worms and watch how easy it gets. No matter what the story, with a new perspective, I CAN change it – I can change the ending.
If you know someone who could benefit from reading this in any way please share it with them. In fact I’m going to be really BOLD here and ask you to please share this message with at least one person, Thank You!
Here’s my BIG announcement….drum roll please!

Here’s a little video to inspire you:
And if you prefer to read it here’s the text:
I climbed Thorny Butte today! “Why does that deserve an exclamation mark?”, you might ask. Because, I’ve tried to climb it before and found it an almost impermeable forest of cacti and underbrush, hence the name I gave it, Thorny Butte. Yet I know that amongst the cacti are beautiful flowers, some orangey ones sprouting from the prickliest prickly pear, tiny purple and yellow ones growing right up between the spines and tall pale pink tubular flowers under a scrubby tree. The flowers found their way, so could I.
Today I approached from the right side off an old jeep trail. There it was, a path I hadn’t noticed before, someone had gone before me cutting a path through the rock and brush. It didn’t always look like I expected it to look…there were times today when my path cut through undergrowth and over rocks, but it was still there.
There were times I thought I had lost it, but then it would appear, faintly pointing the direction I needed to go. I often questioned if I should follow the path, I was alone and it was steep, but I asked my guides, I listened and knew that I was safe. I trusted my inner guidance to lead me in the right direction as much as I trusted the path.
The last five feet were impenetrable, I couldn’t actually get to the top without forcing my way and I didn’t have the proper tools to make it. The view was still breathtaking even five feet from the top, I couldn’t see 360 degrees but sometimes 240 is enough!
- Don’t give up, keep looking for your path, it may be around the next bend.
- It’s okay to follow in another’s footsteps if you can’t find the way.
- Don’t forget what goes up has to come down, save some energy for the descent.
- Trust your inner GPS.
- Be grateful for those who came before!
To tap into that inner GPS and much more, join me for the upcoming Dance in the Light women’s retreat June 6-9th here in exquisite Sedona. Click here for all the details.by
I used to hate Mormons. No, seriously, as the past State Coordinator of the National Organization for Women, Mormons were my nemesis.
I debated them, picketed their temple and even made fun of their beliefs. I was certain that everything I was for they were against, and everything I was against they were for. I knew that all the men were racist bigots and kept their multiple wives locked up at home barefoot and pregnant. And I even met some Mormon men who did treat their wives like that.
In 2003, a few months after my 50th birthday party, a casual friend was passing hateful propaganda about Muslims on email. Propaganda that claimed that all Muslims take a vow to kill us. It went on and on, I’m sure some of you saw it. I wrote this woman and told her that not all Muslims are hateful killers, that indeed she may have held hands with the Muslim couple that were at my birthday party as we sang “Let There Be Peace On Earth”. I told her that this couple are beautiful, fun, peace loving people just like we are. I told her that radical, hateful extremists can be found in almost every religion be they Christian, Muslim, Hindu etc. and every country from France to Russia to Pakistan to the USA. I reminded her that some Christians in this country bombed abortion clinics – sometimes wounding and killing people. She wrote back and apologized saying she had never known any of “them” (Muslims) and that she had believed all the awful diatribe about “them”. Our conversation ended peacefully.
Yet even after that incident, until about a year ago, I would have claimed that Mormons were my nemesis. That indeed I knew that “they” were against everything I believed in and vice versa.
And then I met a beautiful and faithful Mormon woman. A woman who is spiritual, metaphysical, peaceful, who believes that loving service is the top priority in her life’s mission. A woman who goes to drum circles with me, who shares Reiki healing, who helped me pack my house for a big move, a woman who loves movies, crystals, chocolate and her family, who regularly attends temple and has a deep belief in God. A woman who spent hours sending Reiki healing to my dog — who has become one of my best friends. A woman who shattered every myth I held about Mormons, including that they are all Republicans.
And I had to face my fears – my deep seated beliefs about “them”. I had to step up and recognize that when I put anyone in the “them” slot, the different than me slot, I contribute to the separation that causes hatred and violence. When I fail to meet someone and know them as another human being, regardless of their race, creed, religion, gender, sexual orientation, political affiliation or any other differences, I contribute to the imbalance. I contribute to dishonoring another human. And I dishonor myself in the process.
In the many years that I worked seven days a week for women’s rights, for gay rights, for equality for all, I remember the people who met me and said, “You don’t look like one of them”. And yet haven’t I said the same?
When I look at anyone different than me in any way and pass judgment based on those assumptions , I give up my chance to know the real person, to relate to another human being at a deeper level…the level where love exists. For at the core of the majority of humans, I believe there is infinite light, I believe there is powerful love and forgiveness. I believe that most of us are good – that we want peace – that we care about each other. I believe when we take the time to go beyond our judgments, our assumptions and yes our expectations, that we will find another human being who wants the same things we do, who desires love, peace and freedom.
I commit to reach out to “them” the next time. I commit to take the time to learn who “they” are.
And I commit to remember, when I point a finger at someone else there are three pointing back at me!
Please feel free to add your comments below…thanks!

I can CHOOSE!
My dog Cheyenne chose to leave her physical body on June 11th. I used to say I didn’t know how I would stand it when she left me.
Even in her leaving she is teaching me lessons. Like the river in the picture there are two directions I can go. I can choose grief or I can choose joy. I experienced deep grief the first few days after Cheyenne passed. Then something magical happened.
As I would start to feel the pain Cheyenne would appear – she would laugh at me and tell me I could be sad if I wanted but reminding me that I could CHOOSE to be joyful instead. I can choose to remember all the fun we had hiking , or just sitting looking out over the beauty of Sedona. I can remember how good I felt witnessing her absolute joy as she rolled around in the grass or on the carpet scratching her head and snorting with pleasure. I can replay the short film in my head of her chasing a rabbit – always giving up just before catching one. I can feel the warmth of her against me in the frigid night when we camped at Monument Valley. I can watch her splash and play in Oak Creek,or run up Castle Rock. I can celebrate her unconditional love, her peace, her complete absorption in the moment. I can see those deep brown eyes as they demanded a treat after dinner. I remember her dignity and tolerance as smaller dogs would bark and nip at her when she looked at me as if to say, “Mom, what’s their problem?” I can remember how she met me at the door every day tail wagging, grinning ear to ear, dancing around, so happy to see me no matter what….
Or I can CHOOSE grief!
I always have a choice. This has been a quiet revelation for me that I can CHOOSE to be happy in the wake of her death. In the past I would have chosen to wallow in my grief. Now I feel the grief and then it’s as if I watch it drift away, followed quickly with joy that I got to share my life with this beautiful animal friend.
I still believe in honoring our emotions. I believe that if we don’t honor our emotions we generally stuff them in our bodies where they cause more havoc. I believe that I can let them come up, feel them and then watch them gently drift away.
And I believe that I can CHOOSE whether to stay in that place of grief or CHOOSE differently.
I’m choosing to:
See the grief
Feel the grief
Let it drift away
If you need help dealing with your choices I am always available for coaching…you can reach me at 602.999.2493 or email me BakeR@ThePsychiccoach.net.

The worst symptom of the nasty bronchitis I just lived through was a headache that plagued me for six days. I tried everything to relieve the pain, copious amounts of Advil and allergy tablets, hot compresses, cold compresses you name it. I even tried my husband’s mantra when he’s in pain: “I am not my body. I am free. I am as God created me.”
The mantra worked temporarily but soon the headache would come back with a vengeance. A couple of nights the pain on the left side of my face was so intense I seriously considered lopping off that side of my face. Normally sleep would bring relief from even my worst headaches, not this time!
On the sixth day the universe sent me this amazing article “Burning Man” by Jay Kirk in GQ Magazine. The article describes the horrific burns and subsequent pain suffered by First Lieutenant Sam Brown after his Humvee blew up in Afghanistan. Lt Brown’s body overproduced scar tissue, scar tissue that had to be stretched and ripped to restore his range of motion. To say he was in a living, burning hell would be a gross understatement.
Lt. Brown was invited to participate in a test of a Virtual Realty game that was proving to be effective in significantly reducing pain. While the physical therapists worked on the scar tissue, Lt. Brown escaped into the Virtual Reality game. Afterward he stated that his observed pain had only been a level 6, pain that was normally on a 9-10 level. Also, the therapists told him they had gotten more range of motion than previously.
After reading the article I decided to create my own “VR game”. I imagined myself transported to my favorite island in the world, Santorini. I felt the warm sun on my body, the tiny, smooth black pebbles under my blanket. The scent of delicious grilled fish mingled with the salty ocean air and the seagulls screeched overhead searching for a tidbit left behind. The intense turquoise water shimmered and sparkled and I delighted in the laughter of children gleefully splashing each other at the water’s edge. I totally immersed myself in my “VR game”, experiencing it with every sense, enjoying all the details…AND THE PAIN WAS GONE! Not diminished, completely GONE!
As long as I gave attention to the pain – rubbing my head, swallowing Advil, thinking about how to get rid of it, the pain continued to grow. Hunter Thompson the creator of the Virtual Reality game observed that time spent thinking about pain is an inextricable contributor to actual pain. How giving pain attention meant giving pain meaning, and how meaning amplified the experience of pain. Yep, I can attest to that, as soon as I put my energy, attention and thoughts elsewhere the pain was gone.
In “Conversations With God”, Neale Donald Walsh tells us the laws are very simple: Thought is creative. Fear (or pain) attracts like energy. Can you see how I was creating more pain, with my creative thoughts? Do you understand that thinking about pain attracts more pain? And how relief could come from immersing my self in the beauty of Santorini?
I’m sure that you’ve experienced this at some point in your life. A very simple example often happens to me while out hiking. I am completely engrossed in the beauty of the red rocks, clear blue sky above, fresh air, warm sun…there is almost nowhere I am happier! Yet often I come home to find a nasty scratch on a leg or arm with no idea where it came from, even when I try to remember. I call that my meditative hiking state of mind. It’s extremely effective!
Use the thought of peace and the realization of a Perfect Presence; know that in this Presence there is no tension, there is no struggle, there is no fear, there is no sense of conflict. Know this until there cmoes to your own consciousness a deep, calm sense of peace and ease, and until every thought of pain is eliminated. -Ernest Holmes, The Science of Mind
The next time you are facing pain:
- Create a new scene in your mind using all of your senses
- Imagine all the details of your beautiful new world
- Remember to passionately create the scene, fully immerse yourself
- Repeat if necessary, continue to turn away from the pain, do not give it attention
Why not give it a shot? The pain hurts! Imagining yourself on a beautiful, exotic tropical island, or skiing on perfect powdery snow can at the least take you away momentarily. You might be delighted to recognize the absence of pain as a big grin spreads across your face.
All thoughts are creative, use them wisely!

Bring your questions for Mamacita. We will end around Noon with a short meditation.by
Today I found myself worrying about compensation. Actually my ego self was worried. Am I enough – will I make enough? Was the reading good – good enough?
My ego self says, “show me the money”, as if that is the only way to measure my self worth. My spiritual self is always certain that indeed I am enough – I AM good enough. I am always fully supported. My ego needs the compliments and glowing emails that clients send. My ego is fear based it needs to be fed. My spiritual self feels the deep connection in the moment and knows that the true gift is leading a client to understanding, helping them hear the Truth, or maybe connect with a loved one on the other side. My spiritual self is Love.
While I was in worry, all I could see was more fear. When Mamacita stepped in and slapped me around a little I was able to turn my self to the Truth, to see the light and to focus on my good. As I refocused on my service, 0n my joy in being of service and why I am really here, the phone rang – a client booking a session for tomorrow – of course!
Keeping my focus on gratitude and being of service empowers me and ultimately you. As I step into grace it radiates out and touches all those around me. When you step into grace, into gratitude it radiates out and touches all those around you!
Are you out of touch with your Truth? Out of balance? How much time do you spend in fear or worry?
How much time do you spend in gratitude, service or joy?
Do you think to be grateful for all you are?
Are you grateful for your body? For the utensils that allow you to eat? For the chair you sit in? For a computer that workd with no expectation of thanks?
Take a moment now to sit in gratitude – find at least five things that you don’t normally think to be grateful for:
- The cardinals song
- The men working in the hot sun on the electrical lines down my street
- Healers – especially chiropractors today!
- Can openers
Make a commitment to yourself to practice gratitude throughout your day…it is the single most important step to changing your life!
All labor that uplifts humanity has dignity and importance and should be undertaken with painstaking excellence.
— Martin Luther King Jr.
